My Book
Having worked on stories about marine conservation for various years, I decided to pour the efforts and amazing projects of these great people into a book:
It combines 10 different stories of people trying to save the ocean:
I went out to the sea with researchers working on the longest marine monitoring in the world.
I met a marine biologist/underwater photographer at sea in the middle of the night to learn more about his passion for our seas.
A bunch of young freedivers invited me into a river to collect trash that nobody ever sees.
I wrote a portrait on one of the best orca researchers in the world.
Two of Germany’s leading experts on deep-sea research told me about their adventures.
I was aboard when the WWF patrolled the Baltic Sea to look for ghost nets.
… and much much more.
Because it’s a self-publishing project, my co-author and I need to raise the funds to actually be able to print the first edition.
Only then will Ein Leben für den Ozean become reality.
